USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is an option for cellphone subscribers in GSM networks, which allows the client to interact with the operator in an automatic mode. The process of data exchange is carried out through a special request which sends by subscriber. This request represents a sequence of characters and numbers. The difference from SMS is that USSD requests are not stored in the database and the message is not sent again.
Using the USSD service, a subscriber can receive information about the balance of the account, replenish it and manage the connection or disconnection of various options. It's even possible to replenish the account of another subscriber using bank card number.
The usefulness of this option is that the subscribers have a convenient opportunity to manage their accounts around the clock without having to visit the office of a cell phone operator or an online office. Time costs are minimized.
